We are pleased to announce that Whitney Faculty Dr. James Liao was granted promotion and tenure by the University of Florida Board of Governors to Associate Professor of Biology. He is now tenured faculty in the University of Florida Biology Department! The designation is based on the faculty’s research, publications, service and teaching achievements during their time at the University of Florida. He continues his research full time at the UF Whitney Laboratory campus. Congratulations, Jimmy!
