Welcome to the Visiting 2016 Doris Duke Conservation Scholars

Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience would like to extend a warm welcome to the 2016 Doris Duke Conservation Scholars visiting for the summer. While at Whitney Lab, the scholars will be collecting baseline monitoring data at numerous beaches in the area to assess how the shorelines are changing. Each student is also conducting individual research under the guidance of a graduate student mentor. Individual research topics include: ingestion of microplastics in ctenophores and feeding ecology of black and turkey vultures.
